Broadly, such a dream is commonly linked to achieving unimaginable things through sheer thrift and hard work, your material strength remaining steady, encouraging a friend toward achieving success in a matter and seeing major and beautiful developments in business life.
Your feelings will be on the surface today.
In classic sources, dream about receiving a black gown as a gift indicates giving major help to people in need regarding work, bringing postponed efforts and projects to completion, an opening into a position where you have a say at work, coming together with well-meaning people and cooperating with them.
One piece of advice: do not tell anyone about an argument or problem with your partner.
Dream Oracle reveals that having a dream about receiving a black gown as a gift might indicate being promoted to a position you desire, practicing trust in god and seeking good in every situation, providing very great help to those who ask, overcoming troubles and problems quickly, giving major material and moral help to certain loved ones because of their hardships, breathing a sigh of relief from within the midst of troubles.
What else was in the same dream?
An event, an object, a place, a person... each one has its own interpretation. Read the symbols one by one, but keep in mind the feeling each one left you with. In the end, that one feeling that remains is the dream’s true interpretation.
If It Still Won’t Settle
You have read the symbols, and a feeling has stayed with you. If you can tell whether that feeling is a good sign or a bad one, then you have already interpreted your dream yourself.
But if it came to you tangled, if the pieces will not come together, or if a doubt has settled in, write your dream below, just as it was. Dream Oracle will interpret it for you; your prayers are thanks enough.
