Generally, this is often associated with not straying from the true and righteous path you know, being content with what you have, accomplishing great things on a small budget, having great peace and seeing it continue from now on, being removed from the company of the wicked and escaping hardship and suffering in meeting your needs.
Today you will laugh at what yesterday depressed you or made you suffer.
In classic sources, a dream about checkerboard sky often means receiving news filled with great happiness and joy, the recent run of bad luck coming to an end, signing your name to ever more auspicious successes with every step, marital arguments ending soon, overcoming a health issue and feeling happy.
A small note: keep working hard every day and don’t throw in the towel no matter what.
Dream Oracle suggests that to dream about checkerboard sky might refer to reaching a better position in relationships, sharing troubles and hardships with friends and relatives, your life progressing in the order you’ve always wanted, your cheer, pleasure, peace, and contentment returning, managing the rest of your life very differently after a period of hardship, improving day by day thanks to very righteous people.

An event, an object, a place, a person... each one has its own interpretation. Read the symbols one by one, but keep in mind the feeling each one left you with. In the end, that one feeling that remains is the dream’s true interpretation.
If It Still Won’t Settle
You have read the symbols, and a feeling has stayed with you. If you can tell whether that feeling is a good sign or a bad one, then you have already interpreted your dream yourself.
But if it came to you tangled, if the pieces will not come together, or if a doubt has settled in, write your dream below, just as it was. Dream Oracle will interpret it for you; your prayers are thanks enough.
